Job summary

Strayer University is seeking a dynamic Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate/graduate accounting in a hybrid format. The role requires 11 on-site sessions weekly at the Atlanta campus with the balance online, starting October 5th.

Applicants should have college-level teaching experience in accounting, with CPA preferred and a strong command of Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and time-management skills. Travel to required locations is required.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching preferred.
• 5 years professional experience in accounting preferred.
• CPA license preferred (active or inactive).

Responsibilities

• Teach courses from a pre-designed curriculum using professional expertise.
• Enhance curriculum with technology and videos.
• Arrive on-campus at least 30 minutes prior to in-person sessions.
• Utilize the online platform to enrich the online component.
• Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours.
• Establish high standards and clear evaluation criteria.
• Adhere to University policies and attend meetings and trainings.
