Position Description

Charlotte Radiology, a large (>100 physician) subspecialty-based radiology practice, is creating a novel academic track to meet the needs for a new four-year WFUSOM campus in Charlotte. We are seeking a neuroradiologist to join our Charlotte based private practice, with faculty appointment as assistant, associate, or full professor of radiology in WFUSOM’s Dept of Radiology. This is a hybrid position consisting of onsite and remote shifts.

Position Highlights

  • Help shape and lead the academic arm of our practice in collaboration with Atrium Health and Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
  • Neuro/HN Oncologic imaging and multidisciplinary conference participation, as part of our valued partnership with Atrium Health and The Levine Cancer Institute.
  • Highly subspecialized and dedicated neuroradiology section working together in a collegial and supportive environment.
  • State of the art neuroimaging, including advanced modalities such as perfusion imaging and fMRI.
  • 400k base salary; up to 100k productivity bonus.
  • +Sign on bonus

Practice Highlights

Charlotte Radiology is comprised of 100+ Board Certified radiologists and 30+ advanced practice providers, serving as the area’s imaging experts since 1967. Over the last 50 years, we have become one of the largest and most progressive radiology groups in the nation, and a founding partner of US Radiology Specialists. In addition to offering 24/7 coverage for 16 hospitals, we also own and operate 17 breast centers, a mobile mammography program, 2 vein centers, several vascular and interventional clinics, and jointly own and operate 6 free-standing imaging centers. Our physician team is active in research and clinical trials and has authored many scientific papers and presentations in multiple sub-specialties of radiology.
