Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a motivated Hy-Chi Department Cook to help prepare a variety of hot and cold foods in our Hy-Chi kitchen. You will deliver friendly service, maintain fresh products in hot and cold cases, and support a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on quality and safety.

No two shifts are exactly the same, but here's what you can expect:
You don't need extensive experience for this role; we'll provide the training you need to succeed. To hit the ground running, you'll need to be able to:
Accountable and Reports to: Store Director; Store Manager; Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, Health Wellness Home; Food Service Director; Hy-Chi Department Manager; Assistant Hy-Chi Department Manager; Service Managers.
This is a fast-moving role with significant pressure to meet deadlines throughout your shift. You'll work in the Hy-Chi kitchen and can expect continual exposure to noise and temperature extremes, as well as frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and solvents. Safety is always a priority, and training is provided to help ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
