Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders at the Hy-Chi counter with a friendly smile.
• Review orders and ensure adequate food supply by following a production list.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products; pull items from cooler or freezer as needed.
• Run the department register, receive payment, and make change.
• Maintain sanitation, clean work area, and follow safety procedures.
• Order product and supplies and price products for customers as needed.
• Answer phones and provide friendly service to callers.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and department guidelines.

You'll work in the Hy-Chi department and can expect regular exposure to flour, dust, noise, and temperature extremes, as well as occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals and solvents.
