Job summary

Pi-Square Technologies LLC in Warren, Michigan is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to validate and analyze hardware prototypes across PMICs, smart fuses, load switches, sensing, microcontrollers and automotive Ethernet interfaces.

The role requires hands-on lab testing experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs and electronic loads, plus debugging using Lauterbach and vector/intrepid tools. Apply analytical skills to verify OCP/OVP/UVP and timing sequences.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware testing of automotive electronics and power devices.
• Ability to verify protection features such as OCP/UVP/OVP and inrush.
• Experience with lab equipment including power supplies, scopes, DMMs, and electronic loads.

Job Description

• Testing of hardware prototypes including but not limited to PMIC, smart fuses & load switches, sensing (V/I/T), microcontrollers, memory, and automotive ethernet communication etc.
• Verify and analyze OCP, UVP, OVP, current limiting, inrush, short-circuit, thermal limits and protection features, faults, power sequencing & timing, load profiles

Skill Set

• Experience with laboratory testing and measurements using power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMM, electronic loads etc
• Experience in using flashing & debugging tools like Lauterbach
• Experience in using automotive ethernet tools (Vector tools/Interpid tools) is a plus
