Job summary

Katalyst-Healthcares- is seeking a senior hardware engineer to test prototypes including PMICs, smart fuses, load switches, voltage/current/temperature sensing, microcontrollers, memory, and automotive Ethernet communications.

You will verify protection features such as overcurrent, undervoltage, overvoltage, current limiting, thermal limits, fault conditions, and power sequencing. A Bachelor's degree in EE or related field and 5+ years of hardware design/testing are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hardware design and testing experience.
• Hands-on lab testing with power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, and electronic loads.
• Experience with flashing/debugging tools such as Lauterbach.
• Knowledge of protection features and automotive Ethernet tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test hardware prototypes including PMICs, smart fuses, load switches, sensors, MCUs, memory, and automotive Ethernet.
• Verify protection features (OCP, UVP, OVP) and operating conditions under varied loads.
• Assess current limiting, inrush, short-circuit protection, thermal limits, and fault conditions.
• Evaluate power sequencing, timing, and load profiles across scenarios.
