AMVETS is seeking a motivated and compassionate Case Manager to join our Department of Labor-funded Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP). You will be responsible for providing trauma-informed, employment-focused case management services to homeless veterans, at-risk veterans, and veterans with families. You will guide participants from crisis to career through a structured process of assessment, planning, employment preparation, and wraparound coordination. This position is under the direct supervision of the HVRP Team Lead Case Manager. This position is funded for a 12-month period, contingent upon continued grant funding.
This position requires an individual who can maintain a professional attitude while working on multiple assignments. While in the office, sitting for extended periods of time at the computer most of the day, occasionally standing, walking, lifting, needed to carry out everyday activities. Must be available to drive and travel locally and attend evening and occasional weekend events as necessary. Overnight travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
