To perform skilled work in the installation, repair and maintenance of refrigeration, heating, ventilation, evaporative cooling, air conditioning equipment, and energy management control systems in support of the District maintenance program.
Receives general supervision from an HVACR Supervisor.
Exercises no supervision; provides work instructions to HVACR Assistants.

(Substitutions: Completion of a heating-air-conditioning-refrigeration course of training at a state-licensed technical or trade school or an associate degree in heating-air-conditioning-refrigeration may be substituted for one of the three years of experience.)

This is a non-exempt position, Regular Classified Salary Range 42A. Most positions in this class work 8hours/12months. The probationary period for employees in this classification is six (6) months (or 130 working days of paid service).
