Job description

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $22 - $30 per hour. This range is an estimate based on skills, experience, education, training, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

1. Install accessories such as VAVs, fire dampers, and control dampers
2. Set hangers, roof curbs, and wall sleeves
3. Measure and cut sheet metal by hand or with tools
4. Understand and comply with local and state Building Code and Safety Rules
5. Follow blueprints to determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, or required methods or materials

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience in the commercial HVAC trade required
2. Ability to read and follow blueprints; brazing/soldering experience preferred
3. Reliable transportation to and from work
4. Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to the jobsite
5. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods
6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
7. Prior experience in the commercial field preferred
