Engineered Cooling Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Foreman to lead installation, welding, and maintenance of HVAC piping systems on commercial and industrial sites. You will supervise a team, interpret blueprints, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time project completion.

The role requires 10+ years in HVAC/mechanical systems, 5+ years MIG/TIG/STICK welding, AWS welding certification preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Description

ECS is seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Foreman to join our team. Who will lead the installation, welding, and maintenance of HVAC piping systems on commercial and industrial construction sites. This position involves supervising a team, ensuring quality control, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and regulations. The Foreman is responsible for scheduling, coordinating work, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a Working Foreman position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team in welding and installing HVAC piping systems.


• Interpret blueprints and ensure accurate execution of plans.


• Ensure all welding and pipefitting tasks meet safety and quality standards.


• GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW.


• Coordinate with other trades and resolve on-site issues.


• Ensure proper welding and piping techniques are applied.


• Collaborate with other trades for system installation and maintenance.


• Monitor and enforce job site safety and adherence to building codes.


• Track project progress and provide status updates to management.


• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, including welding diagrams and symbols as well as written and verbal instructions from engineering and management.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.


• 10+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical systems on commercial and industrial sites.


• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certification) is preferred.


• 5+ years of Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick pipe welding methods.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.


• OSHA 30 or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
