Overview
About the Role: As a Warranty HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems under warranty. You will ensure that all warranty-related repairs and services are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform warranty service, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues covered under warranty, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Evaluate warranty claims and determine if repairs fall under warranty coverage.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and internal teams to process warranty claims and obtain necessary parts.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent future system failures.
- Repair or replace components such as motors, fans, thermostats, and filters as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining warranty terms, repair options, and system improvements.
- Accurately document all service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used for warranty processing.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Residential Warranty Service HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
