Feldkamp Mechanical is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to support the daily operations of our HVAC warehouse. You will manage materials, tools, and equipment used by field personnel, ensuring the right items are available when needed to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires strong organization, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Foremen, and technicians, handle deliveries, and maintain a safe, clean warehouse.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse/construction/HVAC experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and inventory system familiarity preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming HVAC equipment, parts, and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of stock and job-specific materials.
• Organize warehouse inventory for efficient access and distribution.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits.
• Pull, stage, and prepare materials for upcoming projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and Field Technicians for material readiness.
• Load and unload trucks with equipment and supplies.
• Prepare, track, and coordinate deliveries to job sites.
• Issue, track, and maintain company tools and equipment.
• Inspect tools for damage and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Manage tool check-in and check-out procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard.
• Store materials properly to prevent damage or weather exposure.
• Organize equipment, trailers, and returned job-site materials.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulations.
