Daikin Applied is seeking a Warehouse Associate in our Richmond, VAoffice! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders and keeping the warehouse stocked with essential equipment. Location: Onsite in Richmond, VA

What you will do:

  • Coordinate warehouse activities including but not limited to record control, shipping and receiving and transportation compliance to ensure availability of merchandise
  • Handling and disposition of merchandise and keeping of warehouse inventory
  • Coordinate the logistics of the shipping and receiving department such as trucking companies’ pickup and delivery schedules
  • Review bills of lading for incoming/outgoing merchandise and customer orders to plan work activities
  • Coordinate reclamation of damaged merchandise
  • Ensure safety and plant policies adhered to in work area
  • Expedite critical materials through receiving process, as needed
  • Record and maintain accurate inventory levels and performing cycle counts and periodic physical inventory checks
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Fulfill needed purchasing and inventory review of standardized tool kits and PPE for field technicians
  • Schedule maintenance of rental fleet
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 to 4 years experience related work experience
  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to details

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 to 6 years related work experience

The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $19.38 - $29.95 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
