What you will do:

How will you do it:

We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians with experience in air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHUs, or large rooftop ducted units. Preferred experience includes industrial petro-chemical, pharmaceutical, or data center environments. Your responsibilities include providing top-tier service to solve facility inefficiencies, acting as a trusted advisor during commissioning and aftermarket service, and offering recommendations to optimize facility operation, including upselling opportunities. You will also prepare quotes to support your recommendations.

What we look for:

Required

• Be a dedicated team member willing to learn and responsible for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket services in a fast-growing business.
• Must be a member or willing to join a local Union.
• Minimum of 12 years of practical experience with air-cooled/water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHUs, or large rooftop units, with strong troubleshooting skills. Experience leading complex repairs, jobs, or retrofits.
• Assist management in ensuring proper operational discipline among technicians and contribute to branch development and training needs.
• Provide consulting services related to building systems or product repairs and enhancements, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Commit to self-study to maintain technical proficiency, complete all required training and certifications, and communicate effectively with customers about service activities and system recommendations.
• Manage assigned work efficiently, ensuring timely, professional, and customer-satisfactory execution.
• Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, absorption chillers, screw chillers, and system components involving ammonia/hydrocarbon.
• Maintain ammonia and hydrocarbon safety certifications.
• Extensive HVAC system experience, including chilled water loops, pumping, and troubleshooting compressors.
• Mechanical shaft alignment skills using various tools.
• Use vibration analysis equipment for troubleshooting compressor drivelines.
• Proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing large tonnage chillers and VSDs at medium and high voltages.
• Experience with multiple OEM chiller panels and controllers, and troubleshooting industrial control systems like Allen Bradley.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% for support activities.
• Pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiency.
