Job summary

Champions Group is seeking an HVAC Maintenance/Sales Trainer to design and deliver training for our sales and service teams, focusing on HVAC fundamentals, service techniques, and customer‑facing selling skills to empower technicians and improve customer satisfaction. You will lead hands‑on workshops, assess trainees, collaborate with department heads, onboard new hires, and stay current with industry trends.

Travel ~50%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC sales, maintenance, and/or training experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and customer service best practices.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Experience using learning management systems (LMS) or other training tools.
• Ability to motivate and engage teams with diverse learning styles.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs covering HVAC fundamentals, service techniques, and sales strategies.
• Lead hands-on workshops to reinforce HVAC skills and maintenance procedures.
• Train technicians on product features, upselling, and customer service best practices.
• Assess trainees via quizzes, demonstrations, and role-plays; provide feedback.
• Collaborate with department heads to tailor content to performance gaps and industry changes.
• Onboard new service team members and ensure readiness from day one.
• Monitor industry trends and update training materials accordingly.
• Foster a positive learning environment that values teamwork and inclusion.
