Job summary

Ohio Cat is seeking mechanically inclined workers for a production-based role. You will assemble portable HVAC equipment, perform inspections, assist with repairs, and help prepare equipment for customers. Training is provided and teamwork, reliability, and honesty are valued.

You'll work indoors and outdoors, with a schedule from 7:30am to 4:00pm, and have opportunities for growth and skill development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical training preferred.
• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Mechanical aptitude or general technical skills required.
• Basic plumbing/pipe-fitting knowledge a plus.
• Basic electrical system principles understood.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machine components (pipes, electrical connections, fasteners).
• Safely load/unload HVAC equipment to/from trucks and trailers.
• Perform touch-up painting and sheet metal fabrication/modification.
• Operate forklifts to move and organize materials.
• Wash and inspect returned equipment; report damage.
• Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble machine components (pipes, electrical connections, mechanical fasteners, etc.)

What You Bring
