Weil-McLain seeks a Test Technician - Controls to support the development and testing of HVAC control systems in Michigan City, Indiana. Collaborating with engineers, you will conduct laboratory testing, troubleshoot control systems, and maintain equipment. Ideally, you would have hands-on experience in electrical components and laboratory instrumentation, with responsibilities including executing testing and documenting results.

This role is essential in ensuring product reliability and compliance, as you contribute to both new product development and sustaining engineering activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and hands-on troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret control logic diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation used in electrical and electronic testing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily laboratory testing activities with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and support the development of test procedures.
