Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Technician to join our Norman, OK team. You will conduct comprehensive tests on products and systems, set up and calibrate test equipment, and prepare detailed reports with results and recommendations.

You should have a 2-year degree in HVAC or related tech, strong ability to read diagrams, hands-on experience with test tools, and solid teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with engineers and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics and test procedures.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment, measurement tools and data acquisition systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Experience modifying and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Proficiency with data analysis software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Technician to join our team in Norman, United States. As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing procedures and data analysis.

• Conduct comprehensive tests on various products, components, and systems to evaluate performance, functionality, and compliance with specifications
• Set up and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results
• Perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to identify trends, anomalies, or potential issues
• Prepare detailed test reports and documentation, including test procedures, results, and recommendations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues during the testing process
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve product designs and testing methodologies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
• Assist in the development and implementation of new testing procedures and quality control measures
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in testing and quality assurance

• 2-year degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and test procedures
• Hands-on experience with various test equipment, measurement tools, and data acquisition systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Experience in modifying and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and industry standards
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Physical capability to lift and handle equipment, components, and materials as required
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a testing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with team members
