HVAC Technician (TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required)

Job Description

  • Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • Install, maintain, and repair critical HVAC systems such as chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, compressors, hot and chilled water pumps, CRAC units, exhaust fans, etc.
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.
  • Understand advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, brazing, and soldering.
  • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
  • Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Availability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, and shifts to ensure 24-hour HVAC coverage.
  • Work safely utilizing PPE, site safety plans, and safe work practices at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Rate: $30.00 to $40.00/hour + $4.98/hour Fringe

  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Basic Job Requirements

  • Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship.
  • 4+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Other Job Requirements

  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Local candidates preferred.

Salary Range: $49,000 to $90,000 (Market Rate)

Variations depend on qualifications, experience, location, and market conditions.
