Job summary

Western & Southern Financial Group seeks an HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems across facilities. You will diagnose faults, service DDC/Pneumatic controls, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The role requires hands-on experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with occasional supervision. Valid EPA refrigerant certification and ongoing HVAC education are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience demonstrating independent decision-making and problem-solving.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under stress.
• Typically some HVAC experience with willingness to pursue further HVAC education.
• Understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating principles preferred.
• Proficiency with boiler systems preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoots, installs and repairs DDC/Pneumatic Control Systems.
• Repairs appliances including refrigeration units, dishwashers, dishwashers, stoves, washers and dryers.
• Works with property management to complete work orders and maintenance tasks.
• Identifies maintenance risks on equipment and implements solutions.
• Performs emergency repairs promptly and safely.
