Job summary

Magic Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air (Twin Falls) is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems for homes and businesses.

职位 requires 2+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Section 608 certification, and a valid driver’s license. You will perform tune-ups, safety inspections, and customer education while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC service, maintenance, or repair
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair procedures
• EPA Section 608 certification required (certification requirements may vary by state or region)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems
• Perform system tune-ups, cleanings, and preventive maintenance
• Test and inspect HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Identify necessary repairs and provide accurate recommendations and estimates to customers
• Complete installations of replacement parts and equipment as needed
• Communicate clearly with customers about diagnoses, repair options, and pricing
• Educate customers on maintenance plans, system efficiency, and energy-saving solutions
• Document service tickets, work orders, and job details for each call
• Collect payments and maintain your truck inventory
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety guidelines
• Maintain tools, equipment, and your service vehicle in clean, safe working condition
