Job summary

Charcuterie Artisans seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and installations across the facility in Norwalk, IA. The role emphasizes safety, food quality, and operational standards while enhancing reliability and energy efficiency.

The candidate will utilize CMMS, lead troubleshooting efforts, and work with cross-functional teams. Certification in R-410A and a journeyman license are preferred; overtime or weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and diagnostics.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS and digital maintenance tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• R-410A Refrigeration Certification required.
• Journeyman’s License in Refrigeration or Pipe Fitting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Install new HVAC units and replacement parts according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain system performance to ensure compliance with SQDCM metrics.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate records using CMMS and ensure timely reporting of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and FSQ standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and energy efficiency programs.
