Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Job related education with study in job-related area.
• Valid EPA Type II license required; Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum three years HVAC experience or technical college certificate/diploma in HVAC
• Routine physical activities; able to work at heights; able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Written and oral communication; knowledge of electrical codes, safety measures, and power requirements.

Responsibilities

• Daily attendance and punctuality are required.
• Coordinates with administration and other trades for efficient project completion.
• Diagnoses problems in heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems.
• Installs heating/air conditioning/refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Maintains tools and equipment for safe operation.
• Prepares documentation for written support.
• Requests equipment and supplies to maintain inventory.
• Responds to emergency situations to resolve safety concerns.
• Transports items to ensure availability of materials.
• Repairs various systems to restore equipment to good condition.
• Performs other duties to ensure efficient functioning of the unit.
