Job summary

Capstone Mechanical in Norwich, CT is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to maintain and service HVAC/R equipment across multiple sites. The role includes on-call rotation, scheduling service in internal software, and building quotes. Full-time, on-site with a diverse benefits package.

Qualified candidates will have HVAC experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a valid driver’s license. The company supports EPA & OSHA10 certifications and professional growth through licensing and ongoing

Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to use hand/power tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check.
• Willingness to obtain EPA & OSHA10 certifications (company-supported).

Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial HVAC/R equipment (e.g., RTUs up to 40 tons, split systems, light refrigeration).
• Perform HVAC service repairs, quotes, installs, and maintenance for assigned customer locations.
• Participate in on call rotation.
• Log service details accurately using our internal software.
• Schedules service, maintenance, and quoted work in internal software.
• Obtains part pricing, and builds quotes.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Basic Requirements

Physical Requirements

Weekly Pay ($28-$45/hr., based on experience)
