The Opportunity:

Join CACI as a Master HVAC Technician supporting a mission-critical client at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role offers the chance to work with advanced HVAC systems in high-security environments, providing essential support to U.S. military intelligence operations. You'll have the opportunity to apply your expertise in a challenging and rewarding setting, working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to national security.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on complex HVAC systems in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with sophisticated environmental control systems
  • Respond to service calls and emergency situations, including after-hours
  • Install and modify HVAC equipment to meet specific security and operational needs
  • Work with engineering personnel to plan and implement system improvements
  • Produce technical documentation and reports using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Provide expert technical assistance in mobile facility environments, including potential worldwide deployments

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or 10 years of combined education and experience with a valid Master HVAC license, or 12 years of equivalent Military HVAC training/certification
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification
  • Extensive experience in fault isolation and repair of tactical and strategic environmental systems
  • Proficiency with HVAC control and monitoring systems
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • U.S. citizenship

Desired:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (sponsorship available if not currently held)
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Familiarity with security requirements for SCIFs and military intelligence facilities

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $54,200 - $111,000
