Lumos is looking for a full-time HVAC Technician to join our fast-growing Facilities team! If you have hands-on HVAC experience, a sharp eye for maintenance details, and a proactive approach to solving problems — we want to hear from you.

As an HVAC Technician at Lumos, you’ll keep our systems running smoothly across multiple locations by leading installations, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting repairs with confidence and care. You’ll play a key role in keeping our spaces safe, comfortable, and operational — while staying in sync with team members and supporting other facilities’ work along the way.

You’ll also help transport mobile HVAC systems and portable generators to Lumos sites using a company vehicle, and ensure all work meets federal, state, and local standards. This is a hands-on role that requires reliability, resourcefulness, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

***This position is remote within Virginia with frequent travel to our VA offices.***

Company Summary

Lumos is on a mission to deliver lightning-fast, 100% Fiber Optic internet to the communities that need it most. After the merger of Lumos Networks and North State in 2022, we quickly rose to become a leading fiber internet provider. We currently connect over 475,000 homes, businesses, and multi-family buildings across nine states in the East and Midwest. With major growth in markets like Ohio, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia—and a shared goal of reaching 12 to 15 million homes by 2030—Lumos is playing a vital role in closing the digital divide.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
