Job summary

Responsibilities of the Job:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system performance and safety compliance
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Repair or replace electrical and mechanical components as needed
  • Perform plumbing‑related HVAC tasks including pipe fitting, drainage, and water connections
  • Use diagnostic tools (including electrical testing equipment) to identify and resolve issues
  • Assist with system upgrades, modifications, and equipment improvements
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete job documentation
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and communicate solutions clearly
  • Work independently while collaborating with dispatch and team members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and company standards
Qualifications for the Job:
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration and boilers
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system layouts
  • Experience with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems
  • Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • EPA certification preferred or strong preference to obtain
