This internship position offers hands‑on training and development for individuals looking to build a career in HVAC systems maintenance and operations. Working directly with JLL's experienced HVAC technicians, you'll learn essential technical skills through practical application while supporting our facilities management teams. This role provides a structured pathway to understand commercial building systems, preventative maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques in a professional environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed education in HVAC, mechanical engineering, facilities management, or related technical field
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication abilities and eagerness to learn
Ability to follow safety protocols and technical instructions
Willingness to work in various environments (mechanical rooms, rooftops, occupied spaces)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Obtain a refrigerant license as part of the internship
Previous exposure to building maintenance, construction, or mechanical systems
Familiarity with building automation systems or controls
Basic computer skills for documentation and research purposes
Knowledge of energy efficiency principles
Experience reading technical documentation or diagrams
OSHA 10-hour certification or other relevant safety training
Desire to pursue a long-term career in facilities management or building systems
