Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking an HVAC Technician Instructor to join the founding team for a brand-new HVAC program at our Rhode Island facility. You’ll blend hands-on training with theory to prepare students for successful careers, using a modern, state-of-the-art environment.

No prior teaching experience is required; we’ll provide training and support to help you become an effective instructor and grow within a well-established institution with 75+ years of history.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC Technician experience.
• Current RJ1 or PJ1 license.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC Technologies following our accredited curriculum.
• Conduct hands-on training in our new, fully equipped facility.
• Create an engaging learning environment that promotes student growth.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with industry standards.
• Stay current with HVAC technologies and practices.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve program effectiveness.
• Prepare students for certification exams and successful careers.
