Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC certification, technical training, or trade-school education preferred.
• Previous HVAC installation, maintenance, or service experience preferred.
• EPA 608 certification required for positions involving refrigerant handling.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine system inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems.
• Test system performance and ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Maintain service records and document repairs and parts used.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Follow safety procedures, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
