To join our team as an Energy Technician III! At CLEAResult we partner with regional utility companies to implement energy efficiency programs. Our team implements a demand response program utilizing load control receivers attached to customers’ AC unit. You will be providing QAQC of these devices and subsequent service and removal when needed. You will be informing the customer and educating them on program details upon their request. Our team also implements a home energy assessment program in which you will be performing assessments of specific areas of residential properties. You will install energy efficient measures as identified during the audit process. This is a year-round position that provides a company vehicle, laptop, tablet, tools, PPE safety equipment, and work attire.

Work within the program safety requirements.
Work in all weather conditions.
Maintain organization of company vehicles, inventory, and paperwork.
Travel throughout a defined territory with a company provided vehicle.
Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
Troubleshoot AC issues and determine the correct course of action.
Install energy savings measures including light bulbs, shower heads, thermostats, faucet aerators, etc.
Work in or inspect attics, basements, crawlspaces, and interiors/exteriors of structures.

Associate degree in HVAC.
1-3 years of relevant industry experience or a combination of training, education, and work experience in a related field required.
Valid drivers license.
BPI Certification is a plus.

Driving

Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard
This is a safety-sensitive position and may include f ield work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), w arehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
