Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician 2 to deliver, install and service portable HVAC equipment. You will train customers on safe operation, verify paperwork, and maintain equipment records. Strong HVAC experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

The role includes after-hours and weekend shifts on a rotation basis, with on-site work and adherence to safety standards. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of formal HVAC experience/training.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Driver’s license with clean driving record.
• HVAC Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally to schedule deliveries, pickups and service.
• Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment and trains operators.
• Directs customers to sign paperwork and tracks serial numbers.
• Troubleshoots and understands operation and controls of equipment.
• Operates company vehicle safely and follows safety policies.
• Installs gas hoses and checks gas connections safely.
• Maintains records of in-stock and rented equipment.
• On-call for emergency service; rotating weekend/evening shifts.
