Job summary

Seneca Gaming Corporation seeks an HVAC Technician II to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems and related electrical components across the site. You will follow blueprints, diagrams and specifications to perform hands-on assembly and disassembly of machinery.

This role requires seven years of hands-on HVAC experience, knowledge of NEC and local codes, and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or its equivalency required.
• Must possess and retain an ARI Certification for HVAC Technician-Type: Universal.
• Seven years of hands-on HVAC experience in commercial applications.
• Must understand NEC, NYS Building/Fire codes and OSHA; a plus.
• HVAC knowledge includes air-cooled units, controls, chillers, boilers, pumps, ducts.
• Electrical: 480/208V 3-Phase systems and motor wiring experience.
• Plumbing: copper, PVC and T&C piping; know piping and soldering.
• Able to read drawings/blueprints and implement designs.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, dismantle and repair HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and replace faulty parts.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and instructions for repairs.
• Plan safe work procedures with minimal operational disruption.
• Operate test equipment like voltmeters, gauges and other instruments.
• Perform preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Maintain records and adhere to information security policies.
• Provide courteous customer service to patrons and staff.
• Complete required training within nine months of hire.
• Attend meetings and adapt to changing duties.
