Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Carrollton, TX is seeking an HVAC Technician 1 to provide professional service, deliver portable HVAC equipment, and train customers on safe use. You will also help keep the shop organized and support other technicians on large projects.

The role requires 1–2 years in a service-related role, basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Weekend and after-hours work may be required; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k)

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a service-related role interacting with customers.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, managers and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups and service calls.
• Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment and trains the authorized operator (and/or customer) on the safe use of the equipment.
• Directs customers to sign appropriate paperwork; keeps track of serial numbers.
• Troubleshoots operation, function, specs, capabilities and controls of rental equipment.
• Operates company vehicle safely and follows safety policies.
