Job summary

CYNWAVE Solutions is seeking a full-time HVAC Helper in Vicksburg, Mississippi to support installation, preventive maintenance, inspection, and servicing of HVAC equipment under a Federal contract.

Under the supervision of HVAC Technicians, you will assist staff, maintain service records, manage inventory, and perform general mechanical area maintenance while adhering to safety policies. The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school or relevant experience preferred.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• U.S. Citizen or approved registered alien.
• Ability to pass drug screening and Federal Government criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of HVAC Technicians, provide assistance to staff and perform minor preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain records for all service tickets and daily activities
• Maintain accurate inventory lists, stock levels of HVAC service tools and consumable supplies
• General cleaning and maintenance tasks in all mechanical areas
• Perform work safely and report to the Project Manager any observed safety and security problems
• Lifting and moving of materials, supplies, and equipment minimum 75 lbs.
• Any reasonable assignment or request related to the facility operation by the Project Manager
