Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a HVAC Technician Helper in Atlanta, GA. You will assist in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers. You’ll work onsite with technicians and learn through hands-on exposure, while logging service details and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You’ll wear company PPE, follow OSHA policies, and engage with customers by providing status updates and basic data-entry support as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required by local law.
• Associates degree or HVAC certificate is preferred or you are currently enrolled.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification is preferred but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment, document activity and service data.
• Help with cleaning coils, replacing filters and belts, and lubrication as directed.
• Assist with repair/replacement of components and wiring on various HVAC systems.
• Support technicians by gathering status updates and communicating with customers.
• Wear PPE and follow safety policies; keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform basic data entry and use email/internet tools as required.
