Daikin Applied in Columbus, GA is seeking an HVAC Technician Helper on site. You will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers, while learning from experienced Technicians I-Lead.

You will perform basic data entry, wear safety PPE, and follow safety policies. The role offers training opportunities, growth, and a supportive team in a leading HVAC company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• Associate degree or HVAC certificate preferred.
• Experience in commercial HVAC industry preferred.
• Ability to read manuals and troubleshoot guides.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters and belts, and lubrication.
• Assist with repair and replacement of defective equipment and wiring related to various HVAC systems.
• Support on-site technicians II/III/Lead and share hands-on tasks as directed.
• Maintain professional appearance and clear verbal/written communication with customers and team.
• Perform basic data entry and use email, internet and Microsoft applications as required.
• Wear safety PPE and follow Daikin safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Keep work areas clean and follow standard operating procedures.
