Job summary

Ludlum Measurements, Inc. in Sweetwater, Texas, seeks a qualified HVAC Technician to install, repair and maintain HVAC systems across facilities.

The role is full-time, in-person, with responsibilities spanning installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial HVAC units. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred.
• Physically able to work on HVAC units and read manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC units in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Install ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units.
• Inspect and troubleshoot problems with HVAC units.
• Assist in inventory for parts and replacements.
• Comply with safety standards; perform other duties as needed.
