Job summary

Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to install, repair, and maintain a range of cooling and heating systems across our indoor and outdoor facilities. You will work with commercial equipment and uphold strong safety standards.

This full-time, hourly role requires 2–4 years of HVAC experience, a High School diploma, a valid driver’s license, and applicable licenses (Gas Fitter 1) with EPA/CFC certification.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; related degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of HVAC experience; refrigeration experience preferred.
• Gas Fitter 1 license required where applicable; EPA and AQMD compliance.
• CFC recovery certification required where applicable.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, maintains HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, and related equipment.
• Maintains accurate records and logs of all work performed.
• Makes recommendations for improvements, modifications, upgrades and reports findings to supervisor.
• Assists with major overhauls, modifications, and alterations as required.
• Ensures the safe operation of each work area and project.
• Assists with general cleaning and reassembly of equipment as needed.
• Maintains EPA documentation and follows EPA/AQMD rules when working with refrigerants and regulated chemicals.
• Repairs and maintains walk-in and reach-in coolers and freezers throughout the facility.
