Job summary

Hoffman Cooling and Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in homes or commercial settings. You bring EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and a proven track record of quality workmanship.

You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction while upholding safety and efficiency standards on every job. Team oriented yet capable of working independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Past experience as HVAC service technician or formal training.
• EPA Certification must be held.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience with chillers, heat pumps, and air handlers.

Responsibilities

• Repair or service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
