Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an HVAC Technician in Texas to maintain and repair critical building systems across Starlink facilities. You will work with engineering teams to keep air handlers, chilled water systems, pumps, and cooling towers operating at peak efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma and 5+ years of HVAC experience; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in HVAC technology is preferred, with ARI certification advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 5+ years of professional experience working with HVAC systems
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in HVAC technology preferred (ARI cert is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment on facilities systems (air handlers, chilled water, condenser pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters)
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule on building HVAC systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain systems in peak operating condition
• Follow OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA, ASME, NEC policies and procedures
• Perform ductwork modifications and repairs
• Perform brazing, soldering, evacuation and charging of refrigerants
• Perform water piping and insulation modifications and repairs
