Job summary

Mentor Technical Group seeks an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Technician for our Boston, MA area operations. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting commercial refrigeration systems in hospital facilities, office buildings, and pharmaceutical environments, including chillers, boilers, and cooling towers.

Candidates must have 7+ years of hands-on experience, a MA EPA Refrigeration License, and be comfortable working in a unionized setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician inCommercial Refrigeration for hospital facilities, office buildings or pharmaceutical environments.
• Experience with corrective maintenance and monitoring of equipment such as chillers, boilers, cooling towers; able to troubleshoot 10 ton+ units.
• Ammonia Glycol / systems experience preferred.
• Massachusetts EPA Refrigeration License required.
• This is a unionized position.

Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills

• Refrigeration/HVAC Technician with more than 7 years of experience in Commercial Refrigeration such as Hospital Facilities/ Office Buildings or the Pharmaceutical industry among others.
• Corrective and monitoring of equipment such as chillers, boilers, cooling towers. Troubleshooting commercial units, 10 ton and above.
• Ammonia Glycol /systems experience preferred.
• State of Massachusetts EPA License/ Refrigeration License required.
• This is a unionized position.
