Job summary

ERG is seeking a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician with mid- to senior-level experience to assist with facilities projects at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head in Maryland. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, with emphasis on preventative maintenance and swift troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of HVAC experience, a Journeyman license, and EPA refrigerant certification,

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC experience with Journeyman licensure.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• EPA Refrigerant Reclamation/Recovery Certification.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC units.
• Diagnose electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Preventative maintenance and routine repairs on various systems.
• Support small-scale HVAC projects from design to completion.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and document status.
