You will work with chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAVs, and cooling towers, with on‑call rotations, night/weekend shifts, and potential travel. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, HVAC training, and CFC/EPA certification, with Top Secret clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
  • Experience with chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAVs and related controls.
  • Completion of HVAC training or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Current CFC/EPA Universal Certification (within 1 year).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-service maintenance and installation for mechanical systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Work on air cooled chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAVs, and related systems.
  • Complete maintenance reports and service tickets.
  • Travel and work nights/weekends/on-call rotation as required.

Our mission‑critical services will meet our customer’s needs whether they are using a full-service, monthly, or quarterly based service contract. Our customers consist of mostly government-based facilities but also include privately‑owned and commercially operated businesses.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience; or 1+ year of experience with an associate degree.
  • Commercial HVAC experience as a truck‑based service technician.
  • Experience working with complex HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, package units, AHUs, and VAV systems (direct digital, pneumatic, and automated controls).
  • Completion of an HVAC technical training program or recognized apprenticeship (preferred).
  • Current CFC/EPA Universal Certification (within 1 year if not currently held).
  • Holistic understanding of mechanical equipment and HVAC design in commercial and industrial environments.
  • HVAC OEM factory training or experience with Trane, Liebert, Stulz, and other major brands.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance (applicants will undergo a government background investigation).
  • Requires a Valid driver’s license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC tools, machines, and their proper maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and test equipment to perform diagnostic and repair work.
  • Ability to complete timely documentation including maintenance reports, service tickets, and daily safety briefings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
  • Ability to travel occasionally outside normal working areas; may require limited overnight travel.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and safely.
Preferred Experience
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills down to the component level on boilers, chillers, AHUs, VAVs, heat pumps, and CRAC units.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and system plans.
  • Current Master HVAC License or equivalent technical degree.
  • Experience with Liebert HVAC systems.
  • Strong customer‑relation skills with ability to provide proactive recommendations to clients.

Abilities
  • The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds] on a regular basis.   • Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
  • May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
