Job summary

ESC is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial/industrial HVAC systems. The role requires a CT HVAC license and at least 1 year of experience, with on-call bi-weekly duty and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, performing emergency repairs, training staff, and keeping maintenance logs. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
• Hold a current State of CT HVAC license i.e.: D-1, D-2, S-1, S-2.
• 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work on a bi-weekly 'on-call' cycle.
• Ability to easily lift up-to 50 pounds and carry/heavy items with help or devices.
