Job summary

Pearce Services in the Larchmont area seeks Experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair telecom shelter HVAC equipment. This regional role requires travel within ~60 miles of Larchmont, NY and after-hours availability.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems and report on daily activities. Qualifications include EPA Level 2 certification, 3+ years in HVAC maintenance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience, commercial experience preferred.
  • Must hold Level 2 or Universal EPA certification.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
  • Strong verbal and email communication skills.
  • Willing to travel regionally, with overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cooling systems and replace components as needed.
  • Perform regular maintenance and checks on HVAC equipment.
  • Respond to service calls, including emergency call outs.

Your Impact

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry.This is a regional position. Candidates should reside 60 miles of the Larchmont, New York area.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
  • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
  • Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
  • Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
  • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

  • Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
  • 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

  • Candidates should reside 60 miles of the Larchmont, New York area.
  • Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
  • Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
  • Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
  • Driving to remote work sites as needed.
  • Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
  • Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
  • Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Compensation: $30.00-$45.00 hourly/DOE

Base Pay Range

$30 - $45 USD
