Barkley Heating & Air LLC is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residential settings. The ideal candidate has prior HVAC service technician experience and EPA certification, and works well both independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.

You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality customer service, ensuring safety, and delivering efficient, reliable HVAC solutions for homes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency (e.g., changing filters, cleaning ducts, refilling refrigerants).
• Establish customer rapport to ensure high satisfaction.
• Test pipe or tubing joints for leaks with a pressure gauge or soap solution.
• Test electrical circuits for continuity using appropriate equipment.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.

Responsibilities:

• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

Qualifications:

• Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education
• Valid Drivers License
• EPA Certification
• Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 50+ pounds
