Your Impact

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a fast‑paced and rewarding job best suited for individuals who are responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and eager to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position; candidates should reside within 60 miles of Watkins Glen, New York area.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems.
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
• Complete daily work reports accurately and promptly.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards to keep safety as the number one concern.

Core Experience

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Job Requirements

• Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
• Occasional overnights required – company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
• Driving to remote work sites as needed.
• Will be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
• Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
• Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $24.00–$43.00 hourly, DOE. Compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including skill set, level of experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, or other applicable compensation.
