Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment in telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. Candidates should reside in the Batavia, New York area and must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $62,400 to $83,200 based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified.
• 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters.
• Conduct performance checks on HVAC systems.
• Respond to service calls, including emergencies.
• Complete daily work reports accurately and on time.

Skills

Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification

3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience

Your Impact

Pearce is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This is a fast‑paced and rewarding job best suited for individuals who are responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Batavia, New York area.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
• Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
• Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Core Experience

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Physical/Work Environment

• Candidates should reside in the Batavia, New York area.
• Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
• Occasional overnights required – company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
• Driving to remote work sites as needed.
• Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
• Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
• Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Compensation

Compensation: $62,400–$83,200 annual salary/DOE.
