Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to support facility operations at a GM manufacturing site in the United States. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure safe, efficient building operations and minimal downtime.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification and/or EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• 3+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Monitor and maintain boilers, chillers, air handlers, rooftop units, and related equipment.
• Respond to service calls and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in an on-call rotation or overtime as required.

ACCIONA is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to support facility operations at a GM manufacturing site.

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable building operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
